Fish Feast Now 'Stands on Its Own,' Organizers Say

In 2007, the first Fish Feast was offered in conjunction with the Mackinac Bridge's 50th anniversary.

1800s Bakery Building Demolished in St. Ignace

This story contains a video The old Just Rite Bakery building on the corner of State Street and Central Hill in downtown St. Ignace was torn down Monday, July 13, owing to weak structural integrity. Wade Huskey of Art Huskey and Sons Excavating, the company overseeing the demolition, said the building was dilapidated and unfit for use.
